Dear beauties,

Lipbalm is one of my 'Must have' beauty items for moisturise lips.  If you love natural ingredients with a lot of fun natural flavours to choose from then look for Crazy Rumors =) .  Honey flavour is one of their most popular lip balm.  I love the honey flavour too but for a change, I have decided to try this lemonade flavour .

The lip balm goes on transparent on the lips.  One swipe is enough for the moisturising benefits as it lasted the whole day.  There is no taste if you accidentally lick the lip balm which is good.

The effect stay on the lips until you eat something.  The smell of the lemon is quite light.  The smell lasted on my lips for 1 hours before the smell disappeared. XP

REVIEW ON NADEJE MILLE CREPE THE ORIGINAL MILLE CREPE

People say “curiosity kills the cat”. It doesn’t kill anyone except killing my expectation. How curious? I was curious enough to think about the mille crepe for three days and two nights. I also keep on bugging my friend to no end for it. Partly also because someone asked me to try it out knowing that I am going there.  This is part of the food trip in Melaka I did in late December.

Yes, I have to queue up and I hate queuing up for anything at all. I have to keep on telling myself to be patient for this famous cake. We got seated first because there were only two of us. So, if you are going out there in a group, chance is you are going to wait longer. The bigger your group, the longer you might need to wait.

Let face it, bigger groups tend to hand out really long compare to two people who are just there for dessert and nothing else.

We ordered the orange chocolate and green tea. Both are non alcohol. There are alcoholic mille crepes if you want but well, I was more interested in trying the green tea mille crepe.

I probably have Milky way High of an expectation for the mille crepes. I was not blown away to Pluto when I ate them. The green tea cake is not soft enough and it is too creamy. The red beans is too small for me to be able to feel the taste and texture of how red beans should be.

Orange chocolates taste better. There is mixture of chocolates and oranges. However, the chocolates could be more as I can taste more heavy creamy than the chocolates.

I think my experience was not really a good one partially because I was seated next to a family with a kid that is noisy enough for me to think twice of coming back. Parents just let the child run around and this disturb people next to them. I just can’t wait to get out of the shop because I like to enjoy my food in a peaceful manner, not with disturbance.

Overall, it is not exceptional enough for me to go again. It is a hip place for the young adult and youngster. I rather go back to the Jonker Street for the Melaka coffee or other state coffee.

REVIEW ON MY SCHEMING HERBAL ANTI ACNE MASK

After reading a lot of rave about My Scheming mask, I have decided to give this sheet mask a go and see if this is better than the MBD masks which are just average in my opinion. I may not have tried all the MBD range but I find that …just say that most of the one I have tried does not live up to my sky high expectation of sheet masks.

 The packaging is really cute and appealing with picture of a girl hitting the ‘acne balls’. The smell is nice and ingredients are not bad in my opinion. It does have zinc sulfate which is beneficial for acne prone skin. Other ingredients such as plant ingredients got me interested too.

The masks sheet has pearl paper to avoid tearing the mask. Just remove the pearl paper before applying the sheet mask on your face.

Here is my angry face after I do too much of extraction. I know it is not good but I just can’t help my itchy hands.


The sheet mask is of medium thickness which is good for holding the essence. There is no dripping on my clothes which I really like. The sheet mask adheres to my skin very well. I also like the fit of the mask which finally managed to cover my nose and not overly big.

I love the herbal smell which is enjoyable to me. It smells like a little like green tea.

My redness is sure reduced and face is well hydrated. Overall, I like this sheet masks and will buy this again.

REVIEW ON HUMANPIA COSTECH SNAIL PURE MASK SHEET

This is my first time coming across this Humanpia Costech Snail Pure Mask Sheet as I had never seen this brand in Watsons or Guardian yet. Sorry, if by this time the Humanpia Costech is already on the shelves and excuses my ignorance since I am living in area far away from beauty products and civilization.

Apparently this mask is not as popular as those roadshop Korean brands but hopefully catching up with the beauty market.

Humanpia Costech LTD is located in Jeonju, South Korea.

Ingredients:

aqua, glycerin, butylene glycol, Polyglutamic acid, Phenoxyethanol,carbomer,chlorphenesin,allantoin,xanthan gum,PEG-60 hydrogenated castor oil, sodium acrylate/sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer,tocopheryl acetate,ammonium acryloyl dimethyltaurate/VP copolymer,snail secretation filtrate, disodium EDTA, Potassium hydroxide, hydrolyzed collagen, fragrance

The highest ingredients are actually water. There is Polyglutamic acid which is actually from fermented Natto beans so if you are allergic to beans, better stay away from this ingredient. However, if you love fermented stuff, this is wonderful. Please do look into the ingredients carefully incase it contains ingredients that you are allergic to.

Snail secretion is quite low in the list so I am not sure how the effect is going to show on my skin. It is advisable to avoid using this mask on sunburn, acne and irritated skin. Also do beware if there are any ingredients that you are allergic too.



The sheet mask is quite thick so it doesn’t drip. There is no extra essence inside the sheet mask so the duration for using the mask is only about 20minutes before it starts to dry. What I don’t like is it reeks of strong fragrance which is not really enjoyable to me. The smell reminds me of those hair products for men.

It does help to hydrate and calm down my skin and doesn’t cause sensitivity.  Other than that, no other temporary brightening effect. The mask does fit my face and covers my big nose.

Overall, it is okay. I don’t think I will get it again because I don’t fancy heavily fragrance stuff but if you can tolerate the weird smell, it is cheap from what I see in Q10.

pH: 4.2 (can exfoliate)
It is treated as exfoliating product since it contains BHA although it is a serum so that the penetration of the product will be highest compare to using it at the normal serum. The serum is transparent and it is watery. It dries down fast and there is no stickiness or residue. So, once it is dries, you can apply toner to your skin. The Neulii Teatree BHA Blemish Control Serum smells of alcohol and tea tree but surprisingly it does not sting my face at all. I guess probably because there is Salix Alba Bark Water which is renowned for its calming effect, Anti-inflammatory Astringent. I can see my skin improving the next day. Those underground pimples are reduced in size. Make sure to apply moisturiser after that as BHa and tea tree can be drying.

Neulii Green tea BHA Pore Tightening Serum has clear yellowish with slight viscosity texture. It smelt of alcohol but the odor disappear quick enough once on my skin. I use it for the areas around my nose since there are all my pores which are larger than the world located. It does help to reduce the buildup of dirt inside the pores which I think is great since pores look big because of dead cells inside them. I use it in the morning to maintain the cleanliness of the pores. My skin does turn slight red for few second when I first apply it on my skin but the skin get accustomed to the feeling so there is no redness after the first application. Just make sure to hydrate the skin when you are using BHA. I think it is stronger than the blemish serum. Pores do look clearer and my face feels smoother to the touch but don’t think I see any differences in size of my pores after 3 days of using them.  I am sorry for my bad lighting.  Both photos has differences in terms of lighting so my skin might appear too smooth in the 'after photos'.


Overall, Neulii do offer alternative for 2 in 1 effective skincare serum which targets the skin problems and at the same time deal with exfoliation that the skin needs.  I like the Neulii teatree BHA blemish control serum which does help with underground acne but do not need to do all those long 'waiting' time of 30 minutes in between products.  As for the Neulii green tea Bha pore tightening, one might need to use longer than 5 samples to actually see obvious visible results by the eyes.

The name Bio oil is a highly mentioned when it comes to scars.  I think I have gone through few bottles of it.  They are useful on their own.

Bio-Oil helps improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks, uneven skin tone, good for ageing and dehydrated skin. Bio-Oil has won many skincare awards and has become the No.1 selling scar and stretch mark since 2002.

The bottle is light and since it is transparent, I can how much I have already use.  It applied it on my scars and all over my body.  I don't really fancy the smell inside the bottle but the smell changes upon application on my body. The 60ml is going to last me very long as I hardly made a dent on it after 2 weeks considering I apply it on my whole body 3 times a day.

It is in form of oil which has a sheen on the skin after application.  I find it a value for money considering that you can use it for a long time.  Not bad as a body oil for dry skin type and to even the skin tone.  Consider that it does not have any harmful ingredients, it is an item that even children can apply.

BEFORE AND AFTER BIO OIL FOR OLD SCAR

As for effectiveness, it will work better with new scars.  This old scar is way too long and permanent to have drastic improvement.  It does fade slightly.  However, it is a good moisturising oil =) .

 The first ingredient is water while the second ingredient is a Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride which is perfume. That explains the nice smelling scrub.

The third ingredients gives sort of texture control and provide moisturize. It has cetyl alcohol so it can be drying and potential irritant for acne prone skin type. It has willow bark extract which is like BHA but not exactly the same thing.

It has these tiny beads inside the scrub so it can hurt your skin especially if you have really sensitive skin.


Overall, it is an okay physical face scrub. I don’t scrub my face with it because my skin is really thin at the moment and anything physical can just make it bleeds. I just applied and wash it off quick enough before it dries down.
