How about having a look at my review on this Alive:Lab Multi Ice Cream?

Alive:Lab Multi Ice Cream is not the food ice cream but the name just makes you think it is one right?  It is a gel moisturiser made for oily skin type or for the hot season when most moisturiser just feel too heavy on the skin. I have been loving their ALIVE:Lab Centella Dressing Powder which is a great skincare item.

Description:
Cool down the skin heated by troubles and UV rays.  Heat from skin troubles may cool down thanks to this Cream!
It controls heat of skin thanks to its Canadian Glacail Milk.
You can use it with Centella and Lemon Powder.

Alive:Lab Multi Ice Cream has really nice packaging. It also comes with a spatula to take the product out from the jar.  Inside the jar is a thin plastic lid which explains the reason that it can't hold the spatula.


The beneficial ingredients are:

Polyacrylate-13 with the ability to absorb as much as 200 to 300 times its mass in water so your skin gets all the hydration it needs.  Beta glucan is used for dermatitis, eczema, wrinkles, bedsores, wounds, burns, diabetic ulcers, and radiation burns.

Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate (GFF) which is a popular fermented ingredient is used as a moisturizing agent in cosmetics. It is provides antioxidant effects in human skin cells.  

Allantoin skin-soothing and skin-conditioning agent

Squalane is a popular great ingredients that moisturise the skin but it isn't clogging/

Niacinamide is already a popular ingredients known for brightening and helping the skin with healing.

Hydrogenated lecithin is a skin restoring ingredient which helps to reduce flakes and restore suppleness.


Alive:Lab Multi Ice Cream contains ferments such as beta glucan and Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate (GFF) so if you have fungal acne, it is not recommended.


Alive:Lab Multi Ice Cream has the texture of a light gel which melts into watery liquid upon application on the skin and doesn't sting or irritate my skin. It leaves a slight glowing look if you pat it well into the skin.  Make sure to pat the cream well onto the skin unless you enjoy the 'wet' look on the skin.  The floral scent doesn't last that long on the skin since it disappeared once it dries up.  It does moisturise my skin and keep it hydrated without feeling greasy for more than eight hours.

As for the cooling feeling, it really depends on the temperature of your skin. I have tried it when my skin is flushing red so I can feel the slight cooling feeling for a few seconds.  There is no cooling feeling when my skin is on the normal temperature.

I think the huge jar can last me some time. I am just a bit lazy when it comes in jar since I have to decant it into another smaller jar for fear of contamination.

Overall, Alive:Lab Multi Ice Cream is a nice gel moisturiser that is able to seal in all the products onto your skin so it works really great as night cream for combination or oily skin type.  It is also a nice addition of fermented, moisturising and is water based moisturiser.  Just do not expect this to get rid of acne since there isn't any 'strong' acne buster ingredients in there.

I know adventurous people like you are out there waiting to try this wonderful fruit of South East Asia aka the King of Fruit or more known by the name Durian.

I hope no one actually fainted seeing the word Durian here. Yes, I love Durian XD and it is not stinky at all.  This is a fruit that either gather hates or likes. You can't get someone say it is okay.

Musang King Durian is to one of the Top quality of Durian and it is really expensive for the exquisite taste for those that love it.  The price is also different for there is demand for Musang King durian.  So, a person like will just make do with this Freeze Dried Durian Musang King (50g) which travelled to me without the smell that can choke people out.

Freeze Dried Durian Musang King comes in a secure packet without leaking of any Durian smell.  One just snip off the top and there will be a zip kind so that one can seal it back. There is no need to keep inside the fridge.

Freeze Dried Durian Musang King comes in a dried fruit kind.  If you just bite it, it will come across as really crunchy crackers but to get the most of the taste, one has to let it melt on the tongue. Just put the dried fruit inside the mouth and wait for it to melt.  It will taste like a melted Durian ice cream which is so good. I know people who hate Durian will faint at this too-good-too-to-be-true tasty fruit but it is good.  The smell is not like those artificial durian ice cream or those durian sweets.  This is really nice and the smell is still strong even when it is in dried form.


Freeze Dried Durian Musang King is imported into Brunei and Singapore so it must be of highest quality to do so.  There is also certification from Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (Mesti) and pass GMP 1 from the Minister of Health of Malaysia.

Overall, I do highly recommend Freeze Dried Durian Musang King if you couldn't get the fresh Musang King or just wanted something to eat during travel but do not want to disturb people with the smell. It is great as gift too. I haven't tasted the fresh Musang King because it is too expensive for my wallet.

Do you feel that it is frustrating to deal with acne or sudden breakouts?  If you do, then I am sure you understand that I am always willing to try product to deal with it.  Besides, it has been sometime since I reviewed Korean product for acne prone skin.  One being the Chica Y Chico Tota 3.0 that contain centella asiatica. ALIVE:LAB Centella Dressing Powder comes in a 8ml plastic blue bottle which I really like.  It is very light and easy to carry around.  The ingredient list is short and contains all the ingredients that my skin love.

It contains zinc oxide which is calming and healing to acne prone skin. Zinc oxide is presented in products for diaper rash, eczema, barrier cream,calamine cream, antiseptic ointment and in anti dandruff shampoo.  My skin just love zinc oxide. However, if you have problem with zinc, better avoid it.

Another ingredients presented in this ALIVE:LAB Centella Dressing Powder is centella asiatica which is always work gently to calm my angry pimples and red skin.  Centella asiatica is another ingredient for acne that I really love for my acne prone skin and recommend for those with sensitive acne prone skin that can't handle stronger ingredients such as AHA, BHA or retinol.  Dipotassium Glycyrrhizinate is used as skin conditioning agent with anti-allergic and anti-inflammatory properties. A new ingredient that I haven't try before is azelaic acid which is used to treat acne and it is really gentle. Panthenol is an vitamin B5 which is really great is moisturising wounded skin without clogging the pores since it quickly oxidised to pantothenic acid.


ALIVE:LAB Centella Dressing Powder is gentle to my acne prone skin and does help to calm my angry skin in a matter of days. It doesn't sting, burn or cause any pain.  There isn't any scent at all.  I admit that I like it and always reach for this product at night.

The best way is to use it in a form of white paste.  I also use it as spot treatment (neem powder, a drop of tea tree oil, centella water).  It doesn't work on those red acne scars but it can lessen the redness on the skin.  It won't stick on dry skin so use it as spot treatment with some toner or cream.  I also add a little to my sunscreen to protect my skin since zinc oxide does offer sunscreen protection. I didn't use it with cleanser because it is such as waste because it won't stay on my skin for more than a minute.

So, here is the thing, I can only use it at night or when I don't need to go out.  The white powder has a white cast since we need to use 1:1 ratio so that it is a white paste for it to be effective on healing the acne. Try to use a non clogging cream with the centella powder since if it is just water, that area will crust over and looks really flaky or dry. Another things if you apply a lot ALIVE:LAB Centella Dressing Powder, you will need a cleanser or konjac sponge to remove the white cast of the zinc oxide in the morning.

Overall, ALIVE:LAB Centella Dressing Powder is a great very gentle acne product to heal the skin and reduce the redness on the skin.  If your skin is sensitive and find that AHA, BHA or retinols irritate your skin, do look into this Alive Centella Dressing Powder.

The main ingredient in the sheet mask is the agave plant contains isoflavonoid, alkaloids, coumarin and vitamins B1, B2, C, D and K, and pro vitamin A which has antiseptic, wound-healing and anti-inflammatory properties.  The reason  A. by Bom Super Powder Baby Ultra Cool Leaf Mask is made to calm the skin and for sensitive skin.

Sage is rich in vitamin A and calcium which combats free radicals and thus help with anti ageing.  What I find interesting is that Clitoria Tematea which is an Ayurvedic medicine used to soothe skin and help skin with condition such as acne or pimples is presented in this product.  Lemon balm, Althaea Rosea and Acacia Senegal is used to soothe tension and to treat inflammation.

A. by Bom Super Powder Baby Ultra Cool Leaf Mask is made from lyocell which has better adhesion compare to cotton.  It is durable like polyester but breathable like linen, eco friendly and said that the sheet mask will compose within a month.  I find that it is soft on the skin too.  The sheet mask does fit my face. The leaf doesn't move around when I apply it on my face.

The cool leaf patch is a concentrating care to enhance the elasticity of the skin, relief the skin and reduces wrinkles.

The ultra cooling mask is for hydrating, cooling skin with lime,basil, aloe, lemon balm,herbs.

So, one get the double cooling, relieving and double soothing which seems to be the in trend products for sheet mask for 2017 since I think I have start seeing companies coming up with innovative patches for special care which is used along with the sheet mask for double effect.

A. by Bom Super Powder Baby Ultra Cool Leaf Mask has those mesh looking film to protect the sheet mask which is really unique because it is my first time seeing something like this. It does better to protect the sheet mask.

Those leaf patch sure is unique and fancy on the skin. You can apply the leaf on special area or any way that you like.  I apply it on my eyes area because that is place I need most care.

The sheet mask does fit my face well and the cut on the jaw area allows for better adjustment of the mask on face.  It also adhere to my skin without falling off my face sitting upright.

A. by Bom Super Powder Baby Ultra Cool Leaf Mask has jelly essence so it doesn't drip onto my clothes. I wore it for about 25 minutes before it start to dry.  The sheet mask doesn't have any strong scent to it.  It is hard for me to distinguish the smell since there isn't any specific smell to it. My skin does feel cool during the duration of wear.  My skin does feel more plump, less redness, brighten up and softer.  Not sure if it does anything to get rid of my acne but it does speed up the healing time of those red acne marks on my skin.  I am not sure if you can see the subtle effect on my skin but my skin does feel softer to the touch the next day.

Overall, A. by Bom Super Powder Baby Ultra Cool Leaf Mask is suitable for combination skin type, calming, moisturise the skin and if no allergy to the ingredients. I think it is great as a sheet mask for after a day at the beach, protect your skin before makeup or for skin that just over exfoliate and so in need of immediate hydration but not clogging on the pores.

I'm From Ginseng Serum bottle is in form of a dropper which is from a heavy glass. Glass is used because plastic will cause deterioration in ginseng.  The dropper also makes it easy to control amount of product. Just becareful and don't drop it to the floor.  It is expensive.

I can't help myself but I really love the smell of ginseng that it takes a lot of control to avoid consuming the serum which is actually meant for my skin.  The texture is liquid with viscous and has a brownish tint that turns transparent after absorption.  The serum does quickly absorb well into my skin and doesn't leave any residue. However, I don't think it will be enough to use it as the last product for those having dry skin type.  As for it, I find that it is hydrating enough for my normal zone and oiler T-zone.  The scent of ginseng does disappeared once the liquid dries so if one hate those earthy smell of roots or bark then it is good I guess.

It also doesn't clogged my skin or cause me acne.  It doesn't get rid of acne if you have serious type of acne such as mine.  It does speed up the healing time of red acne scars and strengthen my skin barrier.  I also use it around my eyes.  It doesn't irritate my eyes area and help to firm up my eye area after four weeks of usage since I notice that my eyes are less puffy and baggy.
