Their candles are environmentally friendly and very affordable.  Their Aroma Beads smell so nice and handy. Candlenutsbynadia is the first hand poured candle in Malaysia that use palm wax.  The paraffin is not good for health and environment. We can also blend our own scent and create our own signature.  The candle 120g of 40-45 hrs burn for RM25.90.

Mediheal | Line friends N.M.F Aquaring Ampoule Mask.  The Line friend are just so cute. This mask is for moisturising and help to manage the sebum.

Overall, I love everything and every products in Cubecrate Valentine Box month box.  I think their box is sure amazing for such a low price.  It is a nice affordable surprised box and you get to know a lot of other amazing hidden local brands through Cubecrate.

Cubecrate first box for 2017 has Chinese New Year as the theme which is what I am excited for. I am glad that I received this box before I left for Chinese New Year.  Cubecrate is a monthly subscription box that has varieties of items and it has special theme every month.

Tea blend sample from The Tea Republic. I love tea.  The shop is formed in December 2010 with more than 50 types of teas and operates from Bangsar Shopping Centre. Their online store was launched in 2013 and has a wide selection of tea that you can choose based on your mood, either for relaxation, staying focused, being healthy, or trying something exotic. I am not sure what I got but I have to drink it first to know XD .

Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday everyone,

This month is December meaning Cubecrate came to bring me a box of goodies.  Personally I am really happy with this month content. I was actually whining a little about last month November box but I am super happy with this month Cubecrate December 2016 box.

Beautiful and cute calendar for 2017 by Cubecrate and designed by @moodoodles. Isn't it pretty?  I can totally use it for my next year planning since I really need a calendar and haven't got one. Thank you so much for such a pretty calendar for next year. Also a pretty angel to accompanied it. =)

😊 How are you? I heard that some places have begin to snow. I hope that it is not too cold?

As for me in Malaysia, it is the end of the year with lots of rains only if it isn't flooded 💓. The temperature is just nice when staying indoors.

First of all,  Demeter is a perfume company from US. Their perfume are really nice and unique.
So combined with the popularity of cushion makeup products, Demeter decided to come up with cushion gel perfume gel.  So here is the Moomin cute character on it.  There are two seasons.  This one I have here is the Moomin character in Icelandic Aurora 😍.  Moomin is stamp on the outside of the case so it doesn't comes off easily.

The Demeter Fragrance Library NY Gel Perfume Moomin gel cushion perfume is like a mini cushion the size not bigger than my palm making it easy to carry it around.  The case is made from strong plastic and it is really light to carry for easy touch up of perfume😍. No one likes to carry the whole bottle of perfume right?

The perfume is in form of gel inside the cushion.  The Icelandic Aurora scent comes in light blue cushion.  Inside the cushion, there is a mini puff the width of my two fingers😊.  It doesn't have a mirror and in its place, there is a sticker of the Moomin family members.


Demeter Fragrance Library NY Gel Perfume Moomin gel cushion perfume in Icelandic Aurora smells of fresh wash linen but I guess everyone will have different views on scent since scent is very personal.  The smells isn't strong and it does have few notes.  I find it does last about 2 hours on me.  The smell disappeared once it reaches 3 hours of exposure.  The hours of wear can also depends on your skin and the weather.

Make sure to not leave the perfume in hot places as it will change the smell.  I think it is cool concept since no one will notice that I am actually applying perfume.  People will notice if I am carry atomiser, trying to spray perfume and the sprayed perfume gets everywhere 😖.

The sachets I have here are the refills in different type of scent.

The one notes scents are
👶baby powder
🍞white musk
🍊fizzy navel
🌸sweet baby
👕clean soap.
These are available in form of bottled perfume.

The other three scents are perfume or par fum which last longer.  These are only available in the cushion case.

Overall,  Demeter Fragrance Library NY Gel Perfume Moomin gel cushion perfume is sure an interesting concept, suitable for those on the go and if you don't like carrying a heavy perfume bottle for touch up.  Just make sure not to confuse this cutie pie with the cushion for face😍

REVIEW ON TEFAL MANUAL CHOPPER

I think most of the time for Asian cooking is spend on cutting onions, garlic and also chilies 😖.  It is really a hassle and sometimes I just wish I can dump the whole big chunk of onions or garlic into the wok. Wok is Asian 5 in 1 cooking utensils. Wiki mentioned it as versatile round bottom cooking vessel.

So, when I received this in my Box of Joy 😍I was so excited to try if this Tefal Manual Chopper could really chop stuff since someone told me that it is useless😟. Don't tell me to use my only blender for meat and for my vegetables because I won't 😅

Tefal Manual Chopper claims that It chop food items in 5seconds. 😬 Only if you can pull it fast enough in 5 seconds. If you take a break like me, it is going to be more than 5 seconds. I use it actually to make minced meat.  The chopper knife is really sharp so becareful when handling. I do find that the plastic made from good quality and it is easy to scoop out my cooking ingredients from it. Washing it in also easy.

Tefal Manual Chopper really cut down  my cooking time because it can make minced fish meat way more faster than I chop it manually😲. By manual labour with knife, it takes me an hours and I smelt like rotten fish after that.  With Tefal Manual Chopper, I just put the cleaned up fish into the chopper, close the lid and pull the string for about 10 times until it becomes minced meat. The food also taste better with this manual chopper than in blended since it does not heat up.  Blender tend to 'heat' up the food so it doesn't taste as good as chopped with Tefal Manual Chopper.

Also beware of ones that look like this but is not even able to cut onions.  Good Tefal Manual Chopper is even able to chop fish meat into minced one so that is the good quality of product for you. Also it is so good that it doesn't use electricity which is really good for wanting to save up on bills.💓

So, overall I think this is a great products if you are constantly looking for affordable manual chopper that does it job.  Indeed a handy product to have.

PETRONAS DEEPAVALI 2016

Happy Deepavali,

It has been some time since I watch some really great web-film and I think this year Petronas came out with an amazing video depicting the stereotype that we have of others.






It is easy to judge others by the appearance without seeking the true reason.  Here is a video about Muniandy and his friend.  Can they escape the misjudgement?

In light of the Deepavali celebration, let us Malaysians learn to respect each others differences and embrace our similarities.  Let the light shines within us, respect each other as individuality and as Malaysians. Let the goodness guide us as Malaysians towards greater harmony can be achieved through greater understanding and compassion.

NIVEA: KEJAR KERJA APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM

NIVEA has recently launched The NIVEA Kejar Kerja Apprenticeship Program is the collaboration between FORWARD and NIVEA to provide a platform for girls to have the opportunity to discover and polish their skills, enhancetheir personal attributes and secure a career spot in various creative industries in Malaysia. This project is further cemented with WOMEN:girlsas the on-ground partner that targets the specific apprentice group for the projected outcome.

The best feature of this project is the actual engagement by the apprentices from the beginning of the recruitment day until the day they achieve the ultimate goal apart from obtaining inspiring inputs and empowerment attributes from NIVEAand FORWARD.The NIVEA Kejar Kerja Apprenticeship Program is paving the right pathway for the girls to be able to bring out and demonstrate their full potential.



Through their involvement with NIVEA Kejar Kerja Apprenticeship Program, they are nurtured and motivated to excel to greater heights in order to improve themselves despite having the lack of support and the stereotyping mindset of society.



NIVEA Kejar Kerja Apprenticeship Program targets girls as young as 18 years old who are living in Projek Perumahan Rakyat (PPR) around Klang Valley and Selangor. This provides a better pathway for them to venture into their desired creative industries as well as reducing the shortages in talents and critical skills gapsin Malaysia.These girls are mentored by renownedentrepreneurssuch as Chef Adu from The Canteen, Boryeong Mud Facial Spa @ Nu Sentral, Baba Can Cook from Limapulo, Project B, Souka Bakes, and NIVEA top beauty adviser of NIVEA.


This program is also facilitated by the illustrious names such as Christopher Ling and Firdaus Nisha each with their own forté to be part of the development of success.



Diamonds are not stumbled upon, they have to be discovered. Hence, NIVEA Kejar Kerja Apprenticeship Program is structured to thoroughly search and surface potential apprentices through on-ground research and surveys prior to the phases of Recruitment, Orientation and Apprenticeship. This collaboration between NIVEA and FORWARD reaches out to 350 girls over five locations for the Recruitment phase over the span of ten days. The Orientation phase involves the shortlisted apprenticesbeing prepped with the fundamentals of the apprenticeship of their choice in a training camp for this program.


The crème de la crème among these apprentices will proceed to the next phase of the Apprenticeship after acing the interview with their mentors. On 26th September 2016, the seven apprentices that makes it will be featured in a media event of Apprentice Announcement Ceremony to announce their breakthrough in enrolling for the apprenticeship. NIVEA Kejar Kerja Apprenticeship Program covers weekly evaluation by the mentors with documentations of the apprenticeship process through videos of their journey and the testimonials from their mentor. Each apprentice is given a RM250 allowance every week during their apprenticeship.Upon completion of the final week of the NIVEA Kejar Kerja Apprenticeship Program, the successful apprentices will be channeled for possible job offers and are targeted to commence a successful employment opportunity in these organizations.
