I am sorry for this lateness in reviewing products from this Japanese's sake brewery, Kikumasamune.  All the products from Kiku masamune contains ferments so for those who are into affordable Japanese skincare products here is the review for the foam cleanser contains sake filtrate.  Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin Care Wash Foam.

Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin Care Wash Foam does foams a lot with a pea size products.  It has a PH of 8 which is high.  It sure cleanses the skin too well that I feel that my skin is tight.  The product come up from the tube in forms of emulsion so it is easy to squeeze too much if one is not careful.  It does remove all the other makeup including waterproof makeup which I guess is the reason for its high PH.  Higher PH cleanses better but also harsher on the skin.

Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin Care Wash Foam contains vitamin E, sake filtrate, horse placenta proteinm foaming agents and cleansing agents.  As with all the other Kikumasamune products, this smells like rice ferment smells but it can smell like banana or bubblegum to others.

Overall, Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin Care Wash Foam is more suitable for someone with lower skin PH (males), oily skin type,  too lazy for double cleansing at night, doesn't mind the horse placenta ingredient in it, love ferments and like foam cleanser.

I prefer the Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin care cleansing gel.

Kiku masamune are famous for the which is Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin care Lotion(high moist) for the hydrating properties, giant size and ferments.

If there is another product from the Kiku masamune that I like from the all the other 5 products that I have tried is this Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin care cleansing gel.

Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin care cleansing gel contains sake filtrate, arbutin, horse protein, parabens and some other cleansing agents.  The cleanser comes up as opaque pink gel which doesn't foam at all. I do need to use a little more compare to Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin Care Wash Foam to avoid tugging my skin. The gel is smooth and is like jelly which is nice.

Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin care cleansing gel has PH of 5-6 which I had checked with my lousy PH paper XD .  I use it as my morning cleanser since it is gentle and does leave my skin hydrated.  It smells like a gentle bubblegum to me but some other may think differently of the scent.

It comes a huge tube, affordable price and gentle on the skin.  Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin care cleansing gel doesn't removed makeup that well so use an oil cleanser or micellar water or makeup remover before this cleanser.

Overall, I think Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin care cleansing gel is a great morning low PH cleanser for every skin type, loves ferment, no allergic to the ingredients listed and prefer gel cleanser.

I just wish that they will remove the animal ingredient from it.  I feel bad for using it each time T_T . I don't know how many of you out there share the same sentiment as I am.

I am trying to put up all the reviews for Kiku masamune products individually instead in one giant posts so here is the review on the lesser known products of Kiku masamune.

Here is a review on the Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin care Lotion which is a hydrating toner.  This  is the lesser known compare to the Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin care Lotion(high moist) because there is no rave on it.

Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin care Lotion comes in a giant bottle of 500ml for about USD12 which is really affordable considering that it has sake filtrate in it.  The ingredients are shorter compare to the high moist one and it does have alchohol denat and added another paraben in it. It doesn't have malititol, methyl gluceth-10, hydroxyethylcellulose, phenoxyethanol, hydrogenated castor oil and no ceramide in it. The reason for the less moisturising effect.


The lotion comes out watery and it has the same signature smells of sake.  It get absorbs into the skin or evaporated into the air really fast as well compare to the high moist one without leaving any traces.  I think this is good for someone that hates feeling anything on the face for more that a few seconds.  It isn't as hydrating as the high moist one but it does have the silky feeling when I touch my skin with my hands.

Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin care Lotion also has the same irritating pump which just spray out in any direction it wants.  It is affordable cheap toner that works great as mist for setting makeup, spray into oily hair and cooling mist in the hot weather.  Personally it will works great for someone with oily skin type in high humidity places.

Overall, Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin care Lotion is more for oily skin type, during summer, high humidity that cause problems for products to absorb, hates waiting for products to absorb into the skin, no problem with ferments and animal ingredient in it.

As for preference, Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin care Lotion and Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin care Lotion(high moist) are both toners that I like to use depending on the weather and my skin condition.

Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin care Lotion(high moist) is hydrating toner that comes in a pink jumbo size 500ml plastic pump bottle.

Please do check up the list of ingredients in the Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin care Lotion(high moist). The placenta extract is from horse so it is from animal. I have actually provided the details in my Instagram if interested to view it.

There is high moist version contains moisturising ingredients such as arginine, rice ferment filtrate (sake),castor oil, soybean protein, ceramide 3, Ceramide 6 II and Glutamic Acid in it.  It doesn't contain alcohol in it.

Personally, like others said I dislike the pump which seems to be faulty or something. The precious Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin care Lotion(high moist) just came gushing out all over if I do not 'cup' my hand over the pump. So, most people decant it into another bottle.

Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin care Lotion(high moist) is a hydrating toner that works well for any skin type under another moisturiser and won't pile.  It absorbs really fast, watery and doesn't leave any stickiness.  It is great as mist, with sheet masks and as body lotion too if you do not much time to hydrate the skin.

I would say that Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin care Lotion works well for people that finds fermented products work well for them. However, it is not for someone who deals with fungal acne since this contains yeast.  Still, if you only find about two or three whiteheads on the acne where you normally breakouts when using this lotion, then it is normal since the yeast in the lotion might be trying to adapt with your skin.

As for the smells, some people think it smells of bubblegum while some think of the smells as bananas, bubblegum or sake. Some loves the smell and some dislike it but bear with because the smells does disappeared once it dries down.

Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin care Lotion comes in a huge bottle which is the reason for the popularity and the hydration that it provides throughout the winter seasons along with the ceramide that it has that helps with the skin repairing process.

Overall, I do like Kiku masamune Japanese Sake Brewing Skin care Lotion for the versatility and the low cost per bottle which is really great. I would be better if the company could substitute it with something else than animal placenta or remove it from the product.

HOW TO GET RID OF ACNE AND ASIAN SKINCARE TIPS FOR ACNE

I am terribly sorry to say I didn’t manage to do my skincare routine for acne prone skin for you. This post is just sitting in my draft chilling for 2 years because each time I wanted to publish it, I have to try something new. Since I blog, I change my skincare products more than snake changes their skin. I just do not want to give the impression that it is a MUST to use 20 products in one skincare routine in order to get skin like Korean stars.

Besides, some people might think I play favoritism or write glowing reviews just because I get the products for review. You do know I don’t bash a product like there is no tomorrow but I will be honest about why it just doesn’t work for me. I don’t have HG also unless I am sure that the product(s) have work wonderfully for me in whatever situation or I just cannot live without it.

My skin was okay until my skin broke again in January 2016 because I was dealing with a lot of things. I got kick out of a job, need money to pay bills and being very sickly because I was not eating well. All in all, I was not okay inside out. SO grumbly aside and being thankful that you stay with me especially Luscious that even send me a care package. THANK you =)  .

So, here are some new tips that I use to deal with acne. You do not have to get what I use since it is just a guide.  There are many to choose and please look into ingredients.

Tips mentioned in the video:

1.  Suitable skincare products-cleanser, moisturizer and a spot treatment.

2.  Find out your allergies and avoid them. Common food allergies are milk, sugar, flour,wheat.

3.  Drink warm ginger +turmeric to help with the acne inflammation.

I know Hada Labo is a popular brand and many bloggers had reviewed this brand already.  Sorry for being slow but I guess trying it late is better than never.

Hada Labo Gokujyun cleansing oil is also Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Cleansing Oil. Lucky for Malaysia customer as there is English ingredients pasted at the back.  I can't read a word of Japanese. This is an old version of the cleanser. Hada Labo Gokujyun cleansing oil comes in plastic bottle tinted yellow.  You can still notice the amount of oil left inside the bottle.  The oil is from olive oil so it is similar to some oil cleanser with olive oil.  The liquid is transparent and smell like olive oil which is okay to me.  Hada Labo Gokujyun cleansing oil is supposed apply dry on the skin and then apply water to emulsified the oil into milky liquid.  The cleanser does remove makeup but it does have a film on my face if I do not remove it with another cleanser.  It doesn't clogged my skin and sure my skin feels cleanser when I use oil cleanser.

Overall, an affordable oil cleanser for oily skin that does not like mineral oil cleanser.  It will help to keep the clean better than just foam cleanser.

Canmake Glow Fleur Cheeks comes in 7 types. The case is from sturdy light plastic which is also compact making it really easy to carry around.

The one I have here is the [07] Lemon&Cherry Fleur.  It comes out as soft peach colour which has slight glow sheen.  The brush is soft and surprisingly good in picking up the pigment from the blush pan.  Since it is white, I can see the amount of blush on the brush which is better than a brown brush.

Application of the product is easy and although it is powdery it doesn't cake on my skin.  One swipe is actually pigmented enough for the colour to appear on the skin but it is build able to suit your liking without looking dry.  Canmake Glow Fleur Cheeks powder is finely milled soft and give me a soft glow which looks like my own natural flush.😍

Canmake Glow Fleur Cheeks is free from mineral oils, petroleum-based surfactants, fragrance, and alcohol.  There is also other plant extract in the in such as Ectoin, collagen, hyaluronic acid, arbutin, rosemary leaf extract, pomegranate flower extract, damask rose flower oil, rosehip oil and Rosa multiflora fruit extract to help prevent dryness of the skin.

The colour of the blush doesn't fade on me for about 5 hours wear.  It is also rub proof because I tried rubbing it a few times but the colour won't disappeared.  😟However, it is not waterproof so if you walk in the heavy rain it will get wash off.  The colour also fade if you have oily skin or sweat a lot.

Overall, Canmake Glow Fleur Cheeks is a nice blush. Great texture, smooth application and if you are looking for a natural glow on your skin with beautiful flowery packaging.  This makes a great gift too especially for the upcoming gifting season.
