Colour contact lens is a part of accessories now =) . I think contact lens are also important if you wanted to emulate the look of celebrities, cosplay or for theatrical purposes. Just changing the colour of the contact lens change how we look.

I actually got Freshlook Colorblends in Sterling grey some time ago. I love the colour grey on people so decided to go with Sterling Grey for maximum grey tone on my eyes. I wanted to do a celebrity makeup with grey eyes but looks like I can forget about it now. The lens look different on my eyes T_T .

The sterling grey is actually obvious blended of two shades of grey. It produces natural looks on the wearer. Don’t trust the colour on my eyes since the sterling grey turn into cool blue on my brown eyes. There is no big eyes effect since it is not circle lens. So, it does look natural if you met me the first time and doesn’t know that I don’t have blue eyes. I guess it is also for those that doesn’t like colour contact lens that has doll eyes effect.

The contact lenses are comfortable for about 6 hours wear. After that,  I need eye drops.  It is a monthly wear lens so it can last for 30 days. Don’t wear more than that because it can danger your eyes. It is not difficult to wear it and the size does suit my eyes.

REVIEW ON ETUDE HOUSE COLLAGEN EYE PATCH

Etude House Collagen eye patch is different from the gel version.  The patch is quite big to hydrate the skin around the eyes.

Korean products always come in such cute packaging that you feel sad throwing away the package away after using.  This is especially true for Etude House which appeal to girl with all the pretty pink products.  So, here is this Etude House Collagen eye patch review =)

There is a light scent to it but I can't smell it when it is on my eyes area.

It does help to hydrate the area around the eyes.  The patch is comfortable and cooling on the eyes.  It helps with puffiness and hydration. Overall, not bad as it feels cooling and good as a weekly treat or to hydrate the eyes fast.  Fine line is temporary gone because of the hydration.  Not sure if it helps for the wrinkles.

If you have watch the Korean makeup artist doing the makeup, you would see them heating the stick and curl the eyelashes with it.  While that is for professional use because I don't want to burn myself, you can do the curl your eyelashes with a curling iron.

How to use:

1) Insert battery.
2) Turn on heated eyelash curler.
3) Check the silicon tip( the red one) for heating completion.  It will turn from red into white one it is hot enough
4) Select area of lashes you want to curl.
5) Using the tip of the heated eyelash curler, gently press up eyelashes until you reach desired curl.

I only use the curling iron here. No mascara or clear mascara, fake eyelashes or other curling tools to show you the effect on someone who has such non-existent eyelashes.

When I heat it up, it has the right amount of heat to curl the eyelashes and won't burn your face.  The heat is controlled so it won't go too hot.  The effect will be more prominent with mascara.  On its own without mascara, my eyelashes are curled but of course not that obvious since I have non existent eyelashes.  Moreover, my eyelashes has really light colour so of course it won't be obvious.

You can use it to curl the fake eye lashes.  I find it rather easy even with sparse eyelashes such as mine and it is way better than the typical curler and the effect last quite long too.  Cleaning the iron curler is also easy.

I guess now that with curling iron, I don't need to take more time for my eye makeup since the speed to curl the eyelashes is faster and the effect last longer than using the usual curler.  Not to mention that it doesn't pull on my eyelashes.

The contact comes in air tight container so the product is safe.  PastelNoodles even wrap the box of contact lens with thick bubbles wrap to ensure the product arrived intact.


The contact lens are really comfortable even when I was wearing it for 8 hours.  The contact duration of usage is for one year so it is really worth to get it.

The colours are really great too!   As it is a form of circle lens, it has an enlargement effect but it will make you look fake.  In fact,  I don't have to put up heavy makeup because the colour tend to blend in with my dark brown eyes making it look really natural.

Out of the two range-Okuru and Wakame, I chose Wakame as it is for those below 35 and I think it would suit my skin better.  Besides, there is only 3 products which make it easier for me to use considering how lazy I am.  I love anti aging products considering that I am near 30 years now( western age) but let just say that I don't like to layer too many products on my face.


Wakame is actually a type of seaweed and we often heard how beneficial seaweed is in reducing irritation and for anti aging purposes. There are many high end beauty products with seaweed in it.

 The eye cream comes up in form of opaque fluid cream which absorbed well into the eye area leaving it looking refreshed. It has a little smell of oil but the smell disappeared upon application.



The ‘protect and repair lotion’ absorb easily onto the skin and it balanced the skin oil. My skin was less oily and more moist through the rest of the day. My redness was tone down as well.


As for the anti aging effect,  I have the feeling my skin was smoother after 3 weeks of usage. I have this fine lines on my forehead and fine laughing lines but it was reduced after using the range so I think it helps to reduce the sign of ageing without the oily feeling on the skin.

LAPURETE WAKAME Hydrating Foaming Lotion

The cleanser has a subtle faint smell of seaweed and it foam up the moment you press the pump so it is easy to control the amount of usage. It does remove the makeup on the skin and cleanses the skin well. The skin is also tone up after that.

If you are below 35, then it is better to use the Wakame range as the Okuru range might be too thick for skin below 35 which doesn’t need the extra oil.  Their main ingredients Wakame is sourced from pristine water of Tasmania in Australia and Patagonia in South America.
